Action points and advice for Ju-Jitsu Clubs in England During lockdown in November

Published: 1st November 2020

The government guidance clearly outlines that gyms and leisure centres must close in England due to the national lockdown measures. I’m afraid this means we must move our students Martial Arts and Fitness journeys back online from Thursday. We’ve done this before, we can do this again.

We are exploring any possible exclusions but in the meantime complete preparation for online training is necessary.

LOCKDOWN ACTION PLAN

Ju Jitsu classes are forced to close due to the lockdown, you need to be prepared to swap over to online training. here are the steps you need to take:

STEP 1: Contact venue (if not full-time academy) and confirm closure dates. Discuss the implications of re-opening when lockdown is over. Remember to query the price during the lockdown and how to secure the venue so you’re able to go straight back in when your lockdown comes to an end.

STEP 2: Organise/Resume online training timetable

STEP 3: Publish new timetable on Facebook/all social media platforms and website

STEP 4: Inform students of closure and Zoom Online timetable.

Hopefully, we will be able to open again very soon , but it is best to plan for every possibility!
